A magnificent natural pool, formed from a collapsed grotto and fed by a 45-foot waterfall, Hamilton Pool Preserve offers a unique swimming opportunity for families, couples and nature-lovers alike. Strict regulations protect the ecology of the site, and should be adhered to for the sake of the fish, turtles and plant-life, such as the chatterbox orchid, that call this lovely site home. The preserve offers magnificent hiking trails, picnicking, and guided tours as well. It is located 30 miles southwest of Austin, just 13 miles from the town of Bee Cave.
